Come enjoy OPEN BEAD NIGHT every Wednesday from 6:00-8:00. Learn how to crimp properly, make earrings, figure out "Just how do they do that" and much more!
It's FREE! Just pick out the beads you want to use and we'll help you make a great project. You are welcome to bring in any previous purchases from Glass Onion but we ask you not to bring in beads you've purchased at other stores.

The world of bead embroidery is very addicting! This class will teach you all the stitch techniques for making a gorgeous bracelet. ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED!
You will recieve a packet of focal beads, 20 different colors and sizes of seed beads, lacey stiff stuff, suede, needle, thread and snaps for the closure.
Class runs in the morning but you are welcome to stay all day and work! Grab a friend and pack a lunch!

Students will learn the basic stamping techniques to alter the surface of metals. You will learn to add words and textures to make tags and charms. KIT INCLUDED with class fee will includes sheets of copper, brass and nickel, tin snips, set of metal files and ball peen hammer. Students must bring a wood board to class at least 14" x 16" but not bigger than 16" x 20" and a bench block (available for purchase). We will have letters and textures available for your use.

Have fun with wool! Students will shape the fiber to make round or tube shaped beads to incorporate into jewelry or earrings.
We will attach detail using the "needle felting" technique. MATERIALS INCLUDED. Please bring a bath sized towel to class.

Students will learn how to fuse fine silver together using a small torch. MATERIAL KIT INCLUDES a small hand held torch, a fire brick and fine silver in 12 gauge, 16 gauge and 18 gauge. Students will need to bring a board at least 14" x 16" in size. (no bigger than 16" x 20") Also, a ball peen or chasing hammer, a bench block and a round nose pliers.

Keep all your favorite family photos preserved around your neck! Students will learn how to solder two pieces of glass together using the copper foil method. Solder jump rings on to make charms and pendants. Class fee INCLUDES MATERIAL KIT consisting of a 60 watt soldering iron, lead free solder, copper foil tape, acid free flux, brush, coil spring iron stand with sponge, assorted jump rings, 2 clamps for holding glass, 4 sets of glass to make 4 pendants. Students are asked to bring a wood board 14" x 16" but no bigger than 16" x 20". Also, decorative paper, small photos, words, etc. anything you want to put into your pendants. Age 18 and up
